Are you an Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering undergraduate student interested in becoming a YESW Mentor?
YESW Mentors work with high school students affiliated with Young Engineers Shape the World. YESW Mentors will assist educators with determined engineering activities on Saturdays at 4 ASU Campuses (Tempe, Downtown, West, and Polytechnic). During these sessions, they will encourage exploration of engineering disciplines and provide insight from their college experience. They will also help evaluate and offer design implementation feedback regarding program projects.
What will the position entail?
YESW Mentors must have Saturdays available for workshops. Depending on the campus you are assigned to, you must be available from 8-12:30 PM or 12-4:30 PM. This position requires you to engage with students and bring your passion for the engineering field. Reliable transportation is required.
Campus opportunities currently available: ASU Downtown Campus, ASU Polytechnic Campus, ASU Tempe, and Tolleson Union High School District.
